If you’re not a confident leader, you may keep defaulting back into patterns like people pleasing, perfectionism, avoiding conflict, or downplaying tough conversations. Add in poor time management, a reluctance to delegate, or struggles to deal with staff who push back, and these patterns quickly erode trust and sabotage your leadership (not to mention your quality of life and your sanity). If you don’t start using the right tools and strategies, your staff will walk all over you, conversations will turn into combat and your sleep, your relationships and your health will suffer.
So, before burnout sets in (again), or before more of your good staff leave, or before you yourself, start eyeing the exit, consider this – what if you could simply get the right tools? And what if they’re a LOT easier to use than you might think?
NOT to pigeon hole you, but to understand how it might be sabotaging you. You'll expose the blind spots that are compromising your ability to effectively communicate, motivate, clarify expectations and resolve issues. Once we identify them, we can remove them.
You'll get the four-step formula for managing ANY push back without starting a fight, and you'll learn how to use it. Our very own F.A.I.R. Approach will help you create emotionally intelligent allies instead of objectionable opponents.
You'll get a process that helps you understand how your team thinks, feels, and behaves, which will help you drive change in a way that supports them and meets their needs. You'll get to try this on for yourself so you can see it from the inside out.
Did you know that a lot of your unintentional habits are devaluing you and harming your leadership - without even realising? You'll learn what they are and how to replace them with better, helpful ones that feel good, and align with more effective, confident leadership (without having to start a fight).
You’ll learn (without blame or judgement) which of your unintentional behaviours are sabotaging you, and how to swap them for much easier behaviours that help you lead better. By doing this, you'll inspire the people around you to raise their own behaviour bar as well.
You'll get to identify the unresourceful skills you've become really good at - like dodging tough situations, procrastinating, keeping the peace, or those other ones that keep you stuck in fear and avoidance. Then you'll get help to say goodbye to the ones that are harming you, and hello to the ones that will help you.
You’ll create a plan for how to move forward, NOT one that’s filled with meaningless fluffy stuff that'll get shoved in a drawer, never to see the light of day again. It will be filled with achievable things that will feel easy, but help you create huge change. All you need to do, is want it!
You'll get a one-hour, confidential coaching session with your trainer so you can get help to better understand and implement the training tools. This can happen in person (in Bunbury) via Teams or Zoom, or even over the phone. This session is optional and complementary.
